Faith, Freedom, and the Unchanging Truth of God’s Word
We have some wonderful news to share from Goodies and the Gospel™! Our six-week Bible study, Proclaiming True Liberty in Christ, is officially published and now available for purchase on Amazon!
This is an exciting milestone for our little ministry, and we are incredibly thankful for the opportunity to share God’s Word in a new way.
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” — Galatians 5:1 (KJV)
The Heart Behind Proclaiming True Liberty
When we first began developing this study, our desire was simple: to encourage women to open their Bibles, search the Scriptures, and understand the beautiful liberty found only through Jesus Christ.
We live in a world where freedom is celebrated, discussed, and often misunderstood. But as believers, we know there is a liberty far greater than anything this world can offer.
It is the liberty found through the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
True liberty is not simply the ability to do whatever we please. It is freedom from the bondage of sin and the opportunity to live a life of faithful obedience to the One who redeemed us.
Jesus said:
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” — John 8:36 (KJV)
That precious truth is at the heart of this study.
A Special Connection to America’s 250th Anniversary
As America commemorates 250 years since the Declaration of Independence in 1776, we have a wonderful opportunity to reflect upon the meaning of liberty.
Our nation’s history reminds us of the importance of earthly freedoms, but Scripture directs our attention toward something eternal.
Political freedom and spiritual liberty are not the same. While earthly liberties can be granted, restricted, or taken away, the liberty we receive through Jesus Christ rests upon His finished work.
That is why we chose to bring these themes together in Proclaiming True Liberty in Christ.
Our prayer is that this study will encourage readers to appreciate the freedoms they enjoy while remembering that the greatest freedom of all is found in Christ alone.
What’s Inside This Six-Week Bible Study?
This study was thoughtfully created to encourage women to grow in their understanding of Scripture and apply biblical truth to everyday life.
Throughout the six weeks, readers will find:
- KJV Scripture-based Bible lessons focused on the true meaning of liberty in Christ.
- Daily devotions to encourage a closer walk with the Lord.
- Reflection questions to help readers examine their hearts and deepen their understanding.
- Memory verses to keep God’s Word close throughout the week.
- Practical applications that connect biblical truths with everyday decisions.
- Recipes and encouragement that bring a little homemade goodness into time spent studying God’s Word.
Whether you study independently, alongside a friend, or with a group of women gathered around the table, this resource was created with fellowship, discipleship, and spiritual growth in mind.
More Than Just a Bible Study
At Goodies and the Gospel™, we believe some of the most meaningful conversations happen in the simplest places.
Around a kitchen table.
Over a warm cup of coffee.
While sharing a homemade cinnamon roll.
Or with an open Bible resting beside a well-loved recipe book.
Our ministry has always been about more than baked goods. It is about using everyday opportunities to share the Gospel, encourage believers, and point hearts toward Jesus Christ.
This published study is another way we hope to carry that mission beyond our own kitchen and community.
Imagine women gathering in homes, churches, and small Bible study groups, opening God’s Word together and discovering what it truly means to stand fast in the liberty Christ has given.
That is our prayer for this book.

A Heartfelt Thank You
When Goodies and the Gospel™ was established on September 27, 2025, our desire was to share homemade goodness and the truth of the Gospel, one opportunity at a time.
We never want to lose sight of that simple purpose.
Every recipe shared, every Scripture card handed out, every conversation started, and now every Bible study published is an opportunity to point someone toward the Lord.
We are thankful for everyone who has followed along, encouraged this ministry, prayed for its growth, and helped us share the message of Jesus Christ.
As this study begins making its way into homes, our greatest hope is not simply that books will be purchased, but that Bibles will be opened, hearts will be encouraged, and Christ will be glorified.
Our Prayer for Every Reader
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the opportunity to share Your precious Word. We pray that every woman who opens this study will be drawn closer to You. Give each reader understanding, wisdom, and a heart willing to obey Your truth.
May this study be used to encourage the discouraged, strengthen the faithful, and point those who are searching toward the salvation found only in Jesus Christ.
Help us never to take for granted the liberty we have through Your Son, and may everything accomplished through this ministry bring honor and glory to Your name.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Taste and See That the Lord Is Good!
“O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.” — Psalm 34:8 (KJV)
Thank you for being part of this journey. We are excited to see how the Lord may use Proclaiming True Liberty in Christ to encourage others in His Word.
With faith, fellowship, and a little homemade goodness,
