🍂 WEDNESDAY WEEKLY REFLECTION 🍂

Where Did You See God’s Goodness This Week?

📖 “O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.” — Psalm 107:1 KJV

We spend so much of our lives looking ahead.

What’s happening tomorrow?
What still needs to be done?
What problem needs to be solved?
What prayer are we still waiting for God to answer?

But today, before moving on to what’s next, let’s look back.

Where did you see God’s goodness this week?

Maybe it was in a big answered prayer.

But perhaps it was much quieter than that.

Maybe it was the cool autumn air coming through the window while you drank your morning coffee.

Maybe it was a conversation with someone you love.

Maybe dinner stretched a little longer around the table because no one was quite ready to leave.

Maybe someone encouraged you on the exact day you needed it.

Maybe God provided something you had been quietly praying about.

Or perhaps you’re walking through a difficult season, and His goodness looked like simply having enough strength to get through another day.

🍁 Goodness in the Ordinary

Psalm 107:1 doesn’t tell us to give thanks only when life is easy.

It says:

“O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good…”

Our circumstances may change, but His goodness does not.

Sometimes we become so accustomed to God’s daily blessings that we stop recognizing them as blessings at all.

The food on our tables.

The people sitting around them.

A warm home.

Another sunrise.

A Bible we can open.

A prayer we can pray.

Mercies that were waiting for us when we woke up this morning.

These ordinary things can become beautiful reminders of an extraordinarily good God.

🤎 This Week’s Reflection

Find a quiet moment today and ask yourself:

Where did I see God’s goodness this week?

Write down three things.

Then thank Him specifically for each one.

And if you’d like, share one with someone else. Your testimony of God’s goodness might be exactly the encouragement another person needs today.

As we continue through October, let’s become people who don’t simply experience God’s blessings—

let’s become people who notice them.

🍂 Look back.
🤎 Remember.
🙏 Give thanks.

For the LORD is good: and his mercy endureth for ever.
