There’s something about a crisp fall Saturday that makes you want to slow down, stay home, and fill the kitchen with something warm. 🤎

Today at Goodies and the Gospel™, we’re embracing those simple autumn comforts with a pot of homemade chili simmering on the stove and a batch of warm, gooey homemade cinnamon rolls. 🍲🍎

But Recipe Day is about more than what’s on the table.

Sometimes God’s blessings are found in the ordinary moments we rush right past—the smell of cinnamon drifting through the house, a warm meal shared together, laughter around the table, a quiet cup of coffee, or simply having another day with the people we love.

Today, slow down.

Bake the cinnamon rolls.
Let the chili simmer.
Gather around the table.
And thank the Lord for the everyday blessings He has already placed right in front of you. 🍁
